Talking About Wedding Planning

Hello everyone, I'm Selma Marshall. I would like to share my knowledge about wedding planning on this site. The wedding planning process often starts out slow with the selection of the decorations and venue. From there, the date seems to arrive faster and faster as the bride and groom pick their outfits to wear at the altar. Picking the outfits for the wedding party often proves even more difficult, especially when dealing with a number of different personalities and preferences. I would like to talk about ways to streamline the wedding planning process without upping stress levels. I hope you can use the information I provide to plan the wedding of your dreams.

3 Inexpensive Ways To Add Country Charm To Your Garden Wedding Ceremony

by Diane Roux

Lush greenery, fragrant flowers, and outdoor settings—it's no wonder garden venues are some of the most highly sought after wedding venues out there. While beautiful garden venues are the ideal setting if you want your wedding to have a touch of country charm, the venue itself may need a few extra touches. Thankfully, adding a little down-home country to an otherwise regally charming outdoor venue is not an expensive feat. If you pay close attention to the most important visual points, you can get by pretty cheap. Here are a few things you can do to to add some country charm to your garden wedding venue.

Ditch the chairs and replace them with hay bales.

Most garden venues will provide you with the basic seating for your outdoor ceremony, but these seats will likely be stark white chairs or some other more formal type of seating. Chairs take up a lot of visual space at a wedding ceremony, even when there are people in the seats. Give the scene a country look by trading in the usual chairs for hay bales. The bales can be draped with white linen or even old quilts for a more comfortable seating arrangement for your guests. Best of all, hay bales are pretty cheap, and you may be able to get them to use for free because you will not need them once the wedding is over and can give them back to the farmer.

Skip the arch and create a country backdrop with an old door.

The arch is a beautiful fixture to have, and some garden venues have lovely arches covered with ivy and flowers they will set up for you before the ceremony. However, if you want a little more country charm, consider picking up an old exterior door and having it fixed to a frame and set up as the backdrop. Double doors work even better, and if you want, you can include the arch just the same.

Trade in the tulle bows for burlap ones instead.

One primary fixture at most weddings is tulle, which serves the purpose well with its elegant and free-flowing shape and style. However, if you want a country appeal, you can opt for burlap instead, specifically if you plan to have bows attached to certain fixtures. The best part: burlap is pretty cheap, and can be picked up at just about any farm supply store for a fraction of what you would pay for yard after yard of tulle. You can contact venues like Pristine Chapel Lakeside for more information.
